Dr. Matt Wiest

Movement Expert

“Aha Moment” – when it clicked for me:

Fresh out of graduate school, I knew I wanted to make an impact on peoples’ physical health through movement. What I didn’t know was the massive impact that movement has on an individual’s mental health. Empowerment, ownership, accountability and self-regulated solutions are all products of the art of practicing healthy movement. My purpose has always been in helping young people discover their self-worth and to own their lives. Teaching youth personal leadership skills which build their self-confidence and physical and mental health is what fills my cup.

Why Invictus

Invictus opens up the conversation for growth. We have the opportunity to be better and do better by making a difference in these young men’s lives. Through empowerment and education, we can help them unleash their inner leader. The Invictus vision aligns with my own personal vision for the world. It’s rare to find people who have the same passions for making change that you do. It is an honor to be involved in this project.
